The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) regularly asks for help with the re-evaluation and safety assessment of various food ingredients, food additives, or enzymes. 

To engage EFSA’s scientific assessments, the provision of data is essential. In their own interest, the Member States, research institutions, and industry stakeholders should provide available realistic data for such calls. As individual data influences the outcome of the assessment, participation from all sides is important. Ignorance or non-cooperation can be detrimental to the individual company. Therefore, some current calls for data are listed below:
